Avoiding Crisis

April showers bring May flowers, but what do may flowers bring?

with 2 comments

Well, in our case, down here in our neck of the woods (aka, the southern hemisphere), it’s more like August showers bring September flowers… But you get the point, I’m sure.

Although we didn’t have an awful lot of rain in August (not that I’m complaining), there does at least seem to be some early signs of spring.

Though, with the current temperatures as they are, it reached 82 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday and is forecasted to be in the 80s tomorrow and again on Sunday, you’d think we’re heading straight into summer. Ah, the joys of global warming… or something like that.

Here are the signs of spring that I mentioned. They happen to be right in our front yard.

  1. Hey!!! I just took a bunch of ultra close-up flower pictures yesterday to post on my blog! And I’m still gonna do it, even though you’ve beaten me to the punch, so don’t think I’m copying you, okay? Not this time, anyway.

    By the way, they’re beautiful.
