Avoiding Crisis

some days it’s easy

with 2 comments

and other days, not so much.

and that’s all I have to say about that.

okay so that’s not really all I have to say.

some days it’s easy being a mom, and other days it’s the most difficult stressful exhausting job in the entire world

some days it’s easy living in a foreign country, and other days you are so homesick that all you want to do it get on the next flight home just to have dinner with your family and hang out with your friends

some days it’s easy speaking a second language, and then other days, you open your mouth and out falls crap…pure crap and not even crap that could begin to make sense, just really confusing crap that is nothing but all wrong

some days it’s easy to write, and other days you just can’t be bothered

some days it’s easy to be yourself, and then other days, it’s just easier to be that other person – you know, the one that everyone else wants you to be and expects you to be.

some days it’s easy to wake up in the morning and face the world, regardless of what awaits you, and then other days, it would be just so much easier to pull the covers over your head and pretend like you didn’t exist for a day or a week.

some days it’s easy to be happy, and other days, not so much

today, well, today is one of those other days.
