My ramblings on feminism will have to wait another day (again).  Instead, I bring to your attention an article that I came across today and what I wrote as a result of reading it.

  1. I completely agree with you, that even if taking some time out is the best thing, there are definitely better ways to handle it. Disciplining a student because of his or her mental struggles is not supportive to recovery at all. Kicking people out of school instead of finding ways to solve the problem is not the answer.

  2. I agree that this is not a way to solve a depression problem. I think that a leave of absence is a good option, when the person leaves to find treatment for his/her depression. When a school recommends a leave or forces a student to leave to protect the schools ass, i find it utterly selfish! That upsets me
